Waterfront port Whitby Marina on lake Ontario has 420-slip. It also offers sailing, kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding and a relaxing club house. One can relax and picnic at the Kiwanis Heydenshore Park. Also, along with waterfront trail there are ice cream shops. Here you can also join sailing and boating classes if you are really interested to learn it.
Lynde House Museum is a historic place, one of the earliest building built in 1800s in this town. Now it is considered as museums. Special events and shows are also organized in the house.
